About Me:
Life can get pretty hectic and downright crazy at times. For me there is nothing better than escaping to my kitchen during times of chaos and creating delicious baked goods. It’s not just about the final product, yes of course the cookie needs to taste and look amazing, however it’s more than that for me. It is the process. From planning out what it is I want to make, measuring out all of the ingredients and mixing them together in a careful, thoughtful and purposeful manner. It is the anticipation that builds up as I wait for the item to bake, and then finally the first bite.
See, when I bake I am not just creating a special sweet treat, I am reliving many of my favorite memories. When I take a bite of my delicious buttery chocolate chip cookies, I am taken back to my childhood where many days were spent in the kitchen baking with my mom. When I assemble French macarons, I am transported back to Paris and reliving some of the happiest moments I have spent with my husband traveling the world. This whole process takes me to another world and I want you to come along.
